Welcome to CHAMPS Camp! We invite you to access our website, documents and services, but please note that your invitation is subject to your agreement with these Terms of Use. This document describes in detail your rights and our rights relating to the provision of CHAMPS Camp services, so please review these Terms carefully. 

Acceptance of Agreement

By accessing and using our website, documents and services, you are indicating your acceptance to be bound by the following terms and conditions in full. If you disagree with any part of these terms and conditions, please do not access or use this website, documents or services. This agreement may be revised at any time by CHAMPS Camp without specific notice, therefore it is important that you review these Terms regularly.

Disclaimers 

CHAMPS Camp makes every effort to keep the materials and information on this site accurate. By using this website you assume full responsibility for using the materials and information on this site, and you understand and agree that neither CHAMPS Camp, its employees, volunteers, team members, leaders or suppliers is responsible or liable for any claim, loss, damage, costs or expenses resulting from its use or misuse. 

The advice, information, services and activity instruction presented by CHAMPS Camp are in no way intended as a substitute for medical consultation. Services, documents and training provided are for informational purposes only, and content should not be construed as, or relied on as medical advice. The CHAMPS Camp Model, Staff Training or supplemental documents do not constitute formal training towards a professional certification or license, nor does it confer on the user any level of expertise or qualification to diagnose any medical condition, or to replace a specific treatment plan, product, or course of action prescribed by a medical professional. 

It is the user’s responsibility to receive appropriate clearance and follow advice and limitations from a Pediatric Cardiologist for all participants. It is the user’s responsibility to ensure an appropriate professional (exercise and/or mental wellness) is approved by CHAMPS Camp and present to oversee the program, as outlined by the program requirements. Failure to do so may cause loss, damages or injury, and CHAMPS Camp, its employees, volunteers, team members, leaders or suppliers will not be responsible or liable. By voluntarily providing services to participants, the user assumes the risk of any resulting loss, damages or injury.

Restrictions and Prohibitions of Use 

Access and use of intellectual property of CHAMPS Camp, including but not limited to documents, materials, logos, images and videos, are subject to the following restrictions and prohibitions unless given written consent from CHAMPS Camp. You may not (i) copy, print, republish, display, distribute, transmit, alter, reproduce, sell, rent, lease, loan or otherwise make available in any form or by any means any portion of the website and its contents; (ii) use the website or any materials obtained from the website to develop an information base or similar resource (in any media now existing or hereafter developed), that is offered for internal or commercial distribution of any kind, including through sale, license, lease, rental, subscription, or any other commercial distribution mechanism. 

No print out or electronic version of any part of the website or its contents may be used by you in any litigation or arbitration matter whatsoever under any circumstances. 

Third Party Sites

Where our site, documents or services contain links to other sites and resources provided by third parties, these links are provided for your information only. We have no control over the contents of those sites or resources and accept no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them. 

Limitation of Liability

By voluntarily undertaking and producing a program based on these documents and materials, the user assumes the risk of any resulting injuries, damages, or losses. This includes the independent adaptation, reconfiguration or reproduction of any information, content or materials on our website without expressed written consent from CHAMPS Camp. CHAMPS Camp, the Mending Little Hearts Fund of Saskatchewan, University of Saskatchewan and University of Regina disclaims any liability for incidental or consequential damages, costs, or injuries suffered by any person as a result of, or in connection with the use or misuse of the information or content of this website, documents and services. 

Activities, exercise, educational resources and advice presented in the CHAMPS Camp Model and Staff Training are provided on an “as is” basis. CHAMPS Camp shall not be liable in any way or to any person related to any persons access or use of this website, documents and services.

The entire content of this website, including but not limited to graphics, CHAMPS Camp Model, Staff Training, and all supplemental documents, are the copyright and property of CHAMPS Camp. Any display, transmission, redistribution or reproduction of part or all of the contents in any form is prohibited without the explicit written consent of CHAMPS Camp. You further agree to not change or delete any proprietary notices from materials downloaded from the site.
